How do I use DRITAL powder?
DRITAL comes in a convenient shaker bottle to allow you evenly disperse enough powder to cover the affected area with ease. You can use our product up to three times a day as required. We recommend avoiding broken or weeping skin, face and head areas.
What are the ingredients used in DRITAL?
DIRTAL uses three main ingredients. Corn Starch (also known as maize starch) comes from kernels and acts as thickening agent in our powder.
Zinc Oxide is a white powdery mineral found in many personal care products such as skin protectants, and Diphemanil Methylsulfate is a compound which blocks the sweat gland.
Who will benefit from using DRITAL?
Our vision is for DRITAL is to provide relief and comfort to a wide range of individuals with many sweat and moisture-related issues. Our customers find it highly successful in combating excessive sweating, skin chafing, and irritation, and it also absorbs perspiration on feet and hands. DRITAL is for use on external areas of the body, below the neck.
Why is DRITAL called a perspiration controlling powder?
Under current TGA regulations, a product is an antiperspirant if it contains only Aluminium, Zinc or Zirconium salt. DRITAL contains Diphemanil Methylsulfate in addition to Zinc Oxide, therefore cannot be called an anti-perspirant.
Is DRITAL a suitable replacement to the discontinued Prantal Powder?
Yes. We wanted to develop an
alternative solution yet still use the active ingredient Diphemanil Methylsulfate, which is a safe and reliable ingredient.
How often can I use DRITAL?
You can use DRITAL up the three times a day if necessary, and our products have a Best Before date printed on the bottle.
Can I use DRITAL on my face?
No. DRITAL is not for use on the face or head area.
Can I use DRITAL on my baby and children?
No. DRITAL is recommended for those aged 12 years and above.
Does DRITAL have any talcum powder or aluminium in it?
No. Our product has been specially formulated without talcum powder or aluminium.
Are there any side effects to using DRITAL?
We are not aware of any side effects relating to our product; however, we recommend that if the powder gets into your eye that you rinse it with cold water. If you do react to our product, please contact the Poisons Hotline on 131126.

DRITAL is proudly Australian made and owned. We source our
ingredients from local and international pharmaceutical suppliers.
What is Diphemanil Methylsulfate?
Diphemanil methylsulfate is a drug that opposes the action of the parasympathetic nerves that control sweat production. It is a quaternary ammonium anticholinergic. It works to reduce perspiration by binding to a recepetor known as muscarinic acetycholineand. In doing this it decreases secretory excretion of saliva and sweat.
Can I use DRITAL Perspiration Controlling Powder if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
No, we do not recommend the use of DRITAL Perspiration Controlling Powder during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please consult your healthcare professional for further information.
